KOTA KINABALU: Sabahans eagerly greeted Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as he toured the cultural village at the Kadazandusun Cultural Association (KDCA) grounds in Penampang on Friday (May 31).
THE ITCC (International Technology & Commercial Centre) is the only shopping complex in the country now where you may stumble across signage in Kadazan, besides English and Bahasa Malaysia.
PENAMPANG: Sincerity in working together is key to a successful merger of Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) and Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (Star), says PBS founder and Premier Advisor Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan.
In the November 1999 federal election, PBS only managed 3 parliamentary seats, a far cry from the 8 seats that it won in 1995 and 14 in 1990. The 3 seats were in Bandau (Dr Max), Tanjong Aru (Dr Yee Moh Chai) and Tan Sri Pairin (Keningau). The trio was seen as the Flagship Carrier of PBS.
