The Aug. 3 lecture is open to museum members and the public.
The event at the Coral Ridge Funeral Home & Cemetery to afford greater socially distanced seating will foster an unvarnished, dramatic account of real estate development in Florida. The book details the heady, pre-regulation days of Jack and Leonard Rosen in the Cape, Golden Gate and Golden Gate Estates; the Mackle brothers (Port Charlotte, Port St. Lucie, Deltona and Marco Island); and the genesis of Lehigh Acres, River Ranch, Palm Coast, Spring Hill and other communities, and much more recently, Babcock Ranch. ....
