Twenty realty groups and individuals are accused of discrimination in a lawsuit filed Wednesday after they said in texts that they do not accept Section 8.
A lawsuit filed Wednesday is accusing 20 Boston-area landlords and brokers of housing discrimination against low-income tenants using housing vouchers.
The lawsuit, brought by the Lawyers for Civil Rights and Handley Farah & Anderson on behalf of the group Housing Rights Initiative, alleges landlords and brokers refused to rent to tenants with government-subsidized housing vouchers.
