Emergence of this hard right freedom caucus, whatever you want to call the group, they have taken control of the chamber. they have tried for 15 years. they now have it. and even the concessions that they are getting, while they argue it would empower all member, and i think there is some truth, it would empower all rank and file members, but in this environment, it would lead to absolute chaos, likely defaulting on the debt, shutting down the government, so that s not a silver lining, katy. there is a bright glass scenario, you have talked about it the past few hours, we are weeks away from that, which is ultimately do they have to get to some type of coalition governing? that would be intriguing. we re nowhere near that right now. i do think, ultimately though, kevin mccarthy will not turn the tide here. and the reason why, it goes not to the concessions he s offered but the issue of trust. we know there is already about five who have said they re not going to be, hard core, right no ....

Outcome, okay? then if they have some kind of a meeting of minds, then they will try to adjourn and take a couple of days to draft an agreement. that will be the big thing. and this is going to go into next week. this is not going to end today. so you know, what we were told is that it may take a couple of days to put this agreement together, and have everybody approve it, and you know, have it out there publicly, so everybody can look at it, so this will be finalized, not until next week, this is the idea that is being floated right now, finish this vote, go and meet each other, meet privately, as a group, as a house republican group, all 222 of them, and then see where, see if there is room to adjourn. they would all have to support adjournment, give themselves a couple of days and then maybe come out with a revised agreement at that point. so i think, i mean we ve had 72 hours of this, and everybody is kind of tired. they re all grouchy, as you can see by scott perry, and a lot of ....

Governing, as we have, if you look into the last two years, under the four seat majority in the house, we were able to get so much legislation done, working on a bipartisan manner, from infrastructure, to setting up chips legislation, and standing by veterans and supporting law enforcement, if you got the right environment, and the people willing parties, you can get legislation accomplished but if you set up a situation where you re bow to these extremists it will make it difficult to govern. the democrats changed the rule to vacate. talk too to me about that. we recognized years ago, with the problem solvers caucus, a 58 group of us, we new the motion to vacate which used to be have one member questioning the speaker at any time and you got to defend that otherwise any group, small group of extremists can disrupt the business of the country and we were able to change that rule and get more rules in place for bipartisan governing and that was effective ....
