Asianamericans in our country have had a long and incredible history throughout our country of contribution, of sacrifice, of moving the generations forward of contributing to the overall Health And Welfare of our country and yet they have suffered from continuing discrimination, continuing hate up to and including violence and death. Certainly in my district of hawaii, you pointed out i have the highest asianamerican population in any of the 45 congressional districts, and they have their Heritage And Asia and the pacific, and the fact that we are continuing to see a discrimination and Hatred And Violence against a single community as a result of their ethnicity is absolutely unacceptable in this country.
