if you delay the hot dog competition, you ve stopped history. that cannot happen. guad, you and i know this. let s talk about conditions in miami before we get to michelle here. reporter: conditions here are very nice. we ve had more visitors than expected here this week. in fact, miami beach is the top beach city destination this fourth of july weekend. the airport authority says they ll be serving about a million passengers going through miami international airport the entire week and as you can see, conditions are perfect. it is hotter than usual. i keep saying the sand behind us is so hot, you can t walk on that barefoot. you have to wear shoes because it s so hot. life guards say they have a lot of tourists that aren t familiar with the ocean and water so they ask them to pay special attention to the water if they re going to get in because of the possibility of rip currents in the area and other parts of florida. ....
