COLOMBO (News 1st); The Director General of Health Services confirmed Fourteen (14) deaths caused by Covid-19 virus infection on Wednesday (5th). The total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 734, said the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (
NOCPCO).

01. The deceased is a 51 year old female resident in Hingurakgoda. She was transferred from Welikanda Special Covid Treatment Centre to the General Hospital Polonnaruwa where she died on 04.05.2021. The cause of death is mentioned as pneumonia due to Covid 19 infection. ....

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Director General of Health Services confirmed nine deaths caused by Covid-19 virus infection on Saturday (01). The total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 687.

The deceased is a 65 year old male resident in Karandana. He died on 29.04.2021 while undergoing treatments in Base Hospital Horana. The cause of death is mentioned as COVID 19 Chest infection and Chronic Liver Disease.
