Where does honor fit in? owner is sort of like a steam. on or can actually supplant something. in a way when you say honor beats love actually in the mass lows hierarchy of needs it literally is above love. i m a lot smarter than i thought i was. we are talking about honor. as an immigrant pakistani muslim woman on or is at the forefront and it comes above everything. as a woman, as a muslim woman. it comes above everything. it was such a big deal it when i moved here that my uncles call my parents up before i moved here and they were like, don t let her go to america. my parents were like why? he said she s going to dishonor you when she goes to america. that was actually a conversation. and then god for my parents and then god for their strength. they were like, no, this is our kid. we want to give you the same opportunities we gave to our sons. my brother didn t have that pressure but i did. i had to keep the honor of the family. but by honor we are talking ....
Did not contribute to that formula. a nobel peace prize nomination really did it. this concept of honor is no exclusive to the aap communities, but i feel like i is so ingrained in our dna sometimes trump s love in an asian family that s really, really hard what do you think? i keep thinking about this, it s really important. i ve been obsessed with milo s hierarchy of needs, and it s actually the study of huma motivation the very bottom s survival, an right about that is safety right in the middle is love. right above that is a stink, and above that is self actualization. immigrants, and especially wit economic reasons, they have to try and survive. if they do a great job, thei kids are focused on love esteem, and self actualization when you talk about honor, where does honor fit in? ....
