we begin this hour in washington where president biden and speaker mccarthy are rallying support for their tentative deal to extend the nation s debt. the agreement will likely need votes from both republicans and democrats to pass the house. mccarthy says the vote could come as soon as this wednesday before it heads to the senate. just moments ago, president biden said he is confident this will pass both chambers of congress. the speaker and i made it clear from the start that the only way forward was a bipartisan agreement. that agreement now goes to the united states house, and to the senate. i strongly urge both chambers to pass that agreement. let s keep moving forward on meeting our obligations and building the strongest economy in the history of the world. in the meantime, majority leader chuck schumer is alerting his conference they should be prepared for a final vote in the senate as soon as friday. mccarthy also talked with senate republicans this afternoo ....
How we got, here and how were heading. It was manufactured t divide our communities how many of you i want to make everybody proud but we dont take a lot of tim to make ourselves proud. [applause] the meal tonight was spectacular, thank you so much. it was amazing. it s our honor. asian food is all about getting together at the table. chef and i were so honored to cook for you all. i hope it fostered good conversation in good times. yeah and you put our names on. but it was truly spectacular thank you so much. [applause] i had the pleasure of coming here tonight to join you amazing women at this table. i m going to go back, though, to my little girl who is eight years old. when my going to take back to her. can we call it a pearl of wisdom, what s the best way of looking at the future especially for api women. i always say to young women and i certainly say this to my son actually to not be afraid of doing the thing that scares you the most. because it might actually be ....
