Now in its 40th year, Homer’s Rotary Health Fair returns on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Homer High School commons and gymnasium. The theme for the fair this year is “It’s Your Life…Take a Day to be Well.” The event is sponsored by the Homer Kachemak Bay Rotary Club in cooperation with South Peninsula Hospital.
On Aug. 15, the Homer-Kachemak Bay Rotary Club presented a check in the amount of $5,000 to Lucas Wilcox, Homer resident and founder of the nonprofit organization Altruist Relief Kitchen.
