Luckily his hero, Bogey, comes to the rescue with a fantastic bevy of beauties played out in hilarious fantasy sequences. In the real world, fixed up by friends with gorgeous women, Allan is so awkward that even Bogey s patience is tested. Plays return to the theaters in May with The Melon Patch performing “Play it Again, Sam” May 7-23 and “Shady Business” at the Sonnentag Theatre at the IceHouse May 14-June 6. Take in a show and a smile this weekend. “Rumors” The Bay Street Players in Eustis present the Neil Simon farce, “Rumors,” opening Friday and playing until April 18 at the Historic State Theatre. The play takes place at a large, tastefully-appointed Sneden’s Landing townhouse where the deputy mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of farce as they are gathering for the 10th wedding anniversary of the host, who lies bleeding in the other room, and his wife, who is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken, and wife, Chris, must get the story straight ....
