This week at the Kirksville Thousand Hills Rotary Club meeting, it was their monthly community service project. Members put together Birthday Bags for clients at Preferred Family. The bags include dental hygiene, socks, throw blankets and more. Terry Miller (pictured) spearheaded the project. The club put together birthday bags for both the men and women there. The Kirksville-Thousand Hills Rotary Club meets on Thursday mornings at 7:00 a.m. in the Kirksville Aquatic Center meeting room, 801 E. Mill Street. Anyone who would like to learn more about the club or Rotary International is invited to attend.
The Kirksville Parks and Recreation Department announced its 2024 Saturdays Under the Stars schedule. Movies will be shown at 9 p.m. on a 30-foot big screen at the Ray Klinginsmith Amphitheater in Rotary Park on select Saturdays in June.
