Wind gusts 25 to 35 plus miles an hour. Impacts to both commutes. An avalanche watch has been issued for the back country of the central sierra. 7 a. M. Friday until 5 p. M. Sunday. High to extreme avalanche danger is expected during this time, and certainly unprecedented snow is expected. Blizzard warning starts tomorrow morning at 4 a. M. It runs until 10 a. M.
