[gun shots] that was the harrowing scene at a recent little league baseball game in south carolina. you can imagine and feel how all the kids and parents felt and that is the kind of story that may not even make what we call national news, that you may not ....
Question or putative evidence they re making? they re trying to say, well, maybe you benefitted so much from this clash, this situation that somehow that would exaggerate or fabricate the telling of it, right? that s got to be it. the it can t just be attacking her as you exploited a scenario. if somebody has a tragedy and write a book about it, doesn t mean the tragedy didn t happen. clearly they re reaching for more. how does that play with the actual jury, which is what matters? sure. i think he s trying to undermine her credibility by talking about there s a profit motive, you wrote this to sell books, other kinds of things. he talked about the similarities between what she described and an episode of csi which she says she never saw. i think any points he scores here, to the extent it creates skepticism in the jury, i think that these other witnesses are going to very much help bolster herr story. ....
America now. but is it how we choose to live? no, and i want to walk you through that before i bring in our experts on a story that is important, as i tell you could be our top story just about any night of the year. i say no because not if by choose we mean the chosen preferences of the majority or even the majority of votes in congress where majorities have repeatedly supported at least some gun safety measures only to see a largely republican minority block them in the senate. that was the outcome after one of the deadliest school shootings ever back in newtown. it s the choice people make when asked. people choose stronger safety laws. nine out of ten people want stronger universal background checks. eight out of ten want to raise the age for buying a gun to 21. a super majority backs extending the waiting period to at least a month. that reduces the risk people go out and buy new guns for anger ....
Crushing roe v. wade. you remember the scene in red kansas last year. voters rejecting that amendment to ban abortions. it was the first state to hold such a vote. then you had the predicted red wave crashing for perhaps multiple reasons but this certainly didn t help. then you had wisconsin where a liberal win on the state supreme court after running on the issue republican chair says republicans need to own. you see the receipts and you see that sometimes political change will affect what the courts are trying to strip away from people, which is something that had been settled law for half a century. it s a story we will stay on. i want to fit into a break. we re not done. the virtual world we re playing with, diversity and, yes, some hope with the future. i like to end the week i should say end the hour with ....
