The program assigns a principal, who has proven to be successful, to more than one underperforming school. The goal is to turn that school around. The campus is also starting a Student Council and a Mentorship Program in hopes of improving student performance and getting them ready for high school. Karen Castro Ccsd is also starting the challenges. As of last week, 90thousand students were not registered which affects the perpupil funding.
