Man came in to put in a new sewer line and he went into a four by three home. He was working it at some point, dirt began to fall on top of him. He is now buried about to his knees. The man is alive. I dont know if you could say hes well. He is in some discomfort, but he has been talking. What you cant see right now are the neighbors, there are dozens of them who have gathered to watch this. At one point, it seemed as if the man was almost out, as if they were going to get him out. They have a harness there, as you can see. This began a couple of hours ago and the work is still going on. I checked in with the hospital spokeswoman cindy dove, she says she cannot answer any questions. I asked her the nature of the injuries. If family was here. She said she cannot answer any questions at this time but perhaps later. We from chopper two we know that there were a lot of officers gathered here to pay their respects and a hospital employee came out and told me he sees a lot of Law Enforcement officers inside. A lot of activity but we are not allowed to go any where near the hospital. Security guards are posted around the perimeter. We werent even allowed to drive up to the driveway.
