In its 4 a.m. weather update, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, the Bicol Region, the Visayas, Northern Mindanao, and Caraga are expected to experience scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. "Rains are likely, especially in the afternoon or at night. Floods and landslides are possible," Benison Estareja of PAGASA said. Most of the Visayas are also affected by the ITCZ.
