Under West Virginia Senate Bill 280, no public school board, superintendent or school principal could prohibit a classroom teacher from discussing or answering questions about scientific theories about how the universe and/or life came to exist. Teachers would be allowed to teach principles of intelligent design to explain how many things in the universe came to be.
