The cooling trend continues. Low clouds and fog this morning. Breezy afternoon winds. Le will talk about it more this morning. Kitty. A young girl was shot in the neck. She was playing in her yard after bullets started flying and another man was wounded. Police dont know who was the target. It happened yesterday in oakland on 66th avenue near international boulevard. The girl was taken to Childrens Hospital oakland. Alan wang has details. Police say bullets from half a block away pierced this wood fence and struck a young girl playing on the other side. I heard a young girl trying. Juan said he heard 10 or 16 shots and ran to help the girl who was bleeding badly in her front yard. How bad was it . Bad. Another man halfway down the block was also shot several times but police arent sure if was he the intended target or if he was caught in the line of fire. We dont have a good description on the gunman at all. Happened on 66th avenue in this neighborhood east of international boulevard.

Are still doing overhaul at this hour. Two homes, a total loss. This morning, flames poured from a San Francisco home. Before firefighters could even arrive, neighbors had started moving. I smelled the smoke. Thats what got me up. And then after that, i seen the smoke and i seen the blaze and i came out. And the guy over there got me out. He said, come out of there. Reporter that guy was brent walker, who said he got his son up, but then he knew his landlords were still inside. I said, weve got people in there, ive got to go back in. I ran back in and came back out, and i said, i cant get back in there, the smokes too thick. She gave me another fire extinguisher. And the second time, i guess he had opened the back door, and you know what happens with oxygen and fire. Reporter he carried those two fire extinguishers throughout the morning.
