TALAVERA, Nueva Ecija – A 56-year-old man died after a motorcycle he was driving collided head-on with a police car in Brgy. Baluga at around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The victim was identified as Ruperto Villamar, caretaker, and a resident of Brgy. Pinagpanaan, Talavera who was rushed to the hospital but was later pronounced dead by attending physicians.
The car driver, Cpl. Harold Jay Chan, who was assigned at the Aurora Provincial Police Office (APPO) in Camp Victor Ravina, Baler, Aurora, voluntarily gave himself up to the local police.     Investigation disclosed that the victim, who was driving a motorcycle (1657-NF) suddenly crossed the road which resulted in the mishap. ....
