Paid beach parking in Muskegon takes effect this weekend

MUSKEGON, MI – Paid beach parking at Pere Marquette and other Muskegon beaches takes effect Saturday.
Daily fees are $7 Monday through Thursday and $10 Friday through Sunday. Season passes, which are free to Muskegon residents, cost $20.
The fees were enacted last summer and are charged at Kruse Park, Margaret Drake Elliott Park and Harbour Towne beach. Enforcement is from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. May 15 through Sept. 15. ....
