Paid beach parking in Muskegon takes effect this weekend Updated May 14, 2021; Posted May 14, 2021 New signs at entrances to Pere Marquette beach warn of enforcement of paid parking, which begins Saturday, May 15. (Lynn Moore | MLive) Facebook Share MUSKEGON, MI – Paid beach parking at Pere Marquette and other Muskegon beaches takes effect Saturday. Daily fees are $7 Monday through Thursday and $10 Friday through Sunday. Season passes, which are free to Muskegon residents, cost $20. The fees were enacted last summer and are charged at Kruse Park, Margaret Drake Elliott Park and Harbour Towne beach. Enforcement is from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. May 15 through Sept. 15. ....
