Beach parking passes can now be requested by Muskegon city residents Updated Feb 02, 2021; Facebook Share MUSKEGON, MI – It’s never too early to think about summer in Muskegon and that includes parking passes for local beaches. Residents of the city of Muskegon can now put in their requests for free parking passes that are needed for Pere Marquette beach as well as others, including the dog beach at Kruse Park. The passes also allow for free parking at boat launches and other city parks. A link to request passes is now available on the city of Muskegon website, www.muskegon-mi.gov. Residents have until April 30 to request two passes, after which they will receive only one. ....

A police investigation of an incident that originally was believed to be a possible child abduction by a rideshare driver was completed Friday. Suffolk police interviewed the Lyft driver accused of possibly abducting a child and found that there was no criminal intent.
