(JERSEY CITY, NJ) On Saturday, September 24th, Música y Ritmos, the Latin American Music Series co-produced by the Nimbus Arts Center and Segunda Quimbamba Folkloric Center, returns! This free event, held at the Nimbus Arts Center, will feature live music performances, a salsa lesson, artisan vendors, and an open dance floor. Featured performers include Jersey City’s beloved Segunda Quimbamba performing Bomba y Plena: Puerto Rican folk drum music and dance; as well as Los Hermanos Gonzalez, a young band from Utuado, Puerto Rico whose music ranges from Puerto Rican Folk Music to other popular music of Latin America, DJ Carlos Hedricks, and Mike Andino of Estilo Dance will lead the Salsa dance lesson.
