get out of the airport. spirit airlines leaving the chaos, facing a six day mass cancellation after calling off more than a 1700 flights this week, almost half of the spirit s flights were canceled yesterday. they called up over hundreds more today. the company s ceo making the rounds on morning shows, trying to clean up the mess. there will still be cancellations over the next few days, but we can build back to full operations, and then build from the takeaways we get from this last week. up until then, it s heart-wrenching. it s a terrible experience and we are doing our best. a major pilot union coming out against the airlines. the system is collapsing on the passenger s eight agents and pilots, and people having their plans tossed aside are at the end of their rope. this line i ve never seen this in my life. this has been a horrible experience, horrible. take, take, take, nobody s got no money like that! we ve been through a hard year! it is i think it may be behind us. yeah, i mean, that s the thing i worry about, don, is that they seem to have cracked the code. you know, like safe crackers. they ve opened up the vault and found the mother lode. how they can overturn an election by going through the state election results. and you can control that if you have secretaries of state in these various battlegrounds who are going to say okay, hold on, it shows joe biden won re-election, but we re just going to throw that out and donald trump is the winner. i mean, we are really i think facing that real-life scenario. and then what do we do at that point, don? i think that is a crazy question to consider. but it s becoming more real by the day. it was a wake-up call watching that. i can say reality check but i don t want to take that away from mr. john avlon. kyung needs her own thing. she s been doing great reporting. as all of our reporters on this. as you shall other kyung s great. thank you ve ....

going to talk about in a second of what happened at the capitol. still denying it, still saying it s nothing. wanting to move past it. and you cannot move past that without acknowledging and having at least some consequence or consequences for the party, for the republican party now and the former president of the united states. someone has to answer for what happened on january 6th. a direct assault on our democracy. no question, don. there has to be accountability. if there is no accountability for trump and his crew and what they did to this country on january 6th, we are in a heap of trouble. there s just no other way around it. i mean, to me that s why we have to keep holding their feet to the fire, don, no matter how much they complain over at fox and the five and all whatever their shows are called. they ve got greg and tucker. they complain about us calling them out. but guess what? we re going to keep doing it. it s not going to stop. yeah. i have no idea ....
