The Supreme Court has directed the Gyanvapi Masjid committee to seek relief from the Allahabad High Court regarding a recent order by a Varanasi district court. The order permits a Hindu priest to perform prayers before idols in the mosque s cellar. The lawyers representing the Masjid committee have been advised by the Supreme Court registrar to approach the high court.
