Our societies inequality span over 400 years of slavery, segregation, jim crow and racism. These inequalities exist in many forms, healthcare, Public Safety and justice. Back and African Americans make up just 8 of the states population nearly 18 of covid19 deaths over the past several months have been from that same community. Inequality in healthcare results in death, pure and simple. Our justice system, lady justice is supposed to be blind but many in our eight feel, rightfully so, the color is all thats seen. Despite our advocacy and the City Attorneys Office calling for it as well as the airport this has not been made available to the public or to cities and counties such as ourself.
