The Environmental Protection commission asked the Attorney Generals Office to look into actions by cedar rapids schools and a a mpany it hired to remove the carcinogen. The company, abatement specialties, worked on clearing asbestos while the school was being renovated last summer. The departmentntof natural resosoces received a complaint and through its investigation found several violations putting people at risk of asbestos exposure.
