i concur. there is nothing out of the ordinary or suspicious with these. matt, if there were a fire on board, and the pilots were aware of it, would we expect to see some language about it some place some time in this, if they knew about it? if they knew about it, sure. but pilots abide by the a rule of thumb. aviate, navigate, communicate. they need to fly the airplane, then they need to communicate with ground and controllers, and then aviate, navigate and communicate with ground controllers at the very last. they need to fly the airplane. so, i wouldn t suspect them, if there is anything real immediate in nature to relay to the ground until they had actually established control of the airplane and fought the fire. it s not out of the ordinary. hank, it seems to me though, it s like if there are two pilots up there, i would think that in a case of an emergency that there would be a protocol like pilot flies, and co-pilot communicates or something. is there not some sort of ....

Plane to make that turn away from beijing, that instruction had already been programmed into the plane s computer before the crew in the cockpit made their last voice contact with air traffic controllers when they said good night. that hard left turn, what was almost a u-turn off the plane s planned course had already been executed as an instruction to the plane while the pilots were still in contact with the ground controllers. yet the pilots said nothing about it to ground control. the reason this timing can be pieced together, the reason we know this timing of events is apparently because there was a burst of electronic data from flight 370 26 minutes after takeoff at 1:07 a.m. that burst of tate to, we re now learning tonight, included information about that turn off course being programmed into the computer. so at 1:07 a.m., we know that that turn was already planned. the last contact from the cockpit, the last voice contact from the cockpit to the ground controllers was 12 minute ....

Now why is that important? it just so happens to contradict a government assertion made only yesterday. and it s important, because if the pilots had said that a normal good night actually happened after the acars was switched off, it could suggest they had a deliberate role whatever happened to that aircraft. in either case, the u.s. official says the jet climbed to 45,000 feet after ground controllers lost contact. and then it dropped to 23,000 feet before climbing yet again. and as i mentioned, vast. just look at this. satellite pings that went on for almost six hours after the plane flew out of range of malaysian military radar. it shows it followed one of two enormous arcs to the north as far as kazakhstan or to the south to the southern indian ocean. t the satellite station over the middle of the ocean can only ....

Several times sharply before heading out into the indian ocean. and authorities believe the plane was manually turned after ground controllers lost contact wit, and someone was needed to go below deck on the 777 to disable one key piece of electronics, suggesting sabotage. back with our panel. barbara starr, you are getting information about the human hand perhaps being involved in this disappearance, which seems to corroborate what the wall street journal is reporting. right, anderson. i ve spoken recently to some u.s. officials. what is going on is in the last 48 hours, since it s gotten all this technical data analyzed, the blips off the airplane, the satellite data, the u.s. intelligence community, the u.s. national security community, faa, ntsb, analyzing the technical data, and as they have looked at it now and have had the time to look at it, sort ....

Minutes. we re at 35,000 feet, on automatic pilot. we, in every way we could, tried to replicate exactly the circumstances and conditions so you could see what it would feel like, weeceven with the night s because it was an overnight flight. this is the point. i asked mitchell if you thought that was an unusual statement and you said, not at all. not at all. it is a very standard. as you are signing off from one air traffic control center to the next, you say thanks very much, good night, good morning, whatever sal u tatsalutation is important. a lot has been said about the transponder. it is relatively small-looking but vitally important. this is the device that tells ground controllers who you are. ....
