one person is dead this morning after a single car crash in silver spring. the accident happened around 9:30 last night in the 8600 block of 16th street. montgomery county police say a white honda accord was driving towards d.c. when it approaches a rideon bus, picking up a passenger. the driver of the honda swerved to avoid hitting the bus and ran off the road, hitting the can curb, a fire hydrant, and a street sign before flipping on to its roof. the driver was pronounced dead on the scene. no one else was injured in that crash. police have not released the driver s name. driving around d.c. can be a can cause a bit of road rage, but one man s anger put him behind bars after he smashed his motorcycle helmet into a car. news 4 s jackie bensen has more. reporter: the driver side window of this blue ford focus is broken out. it was the target of an enraged motorcycle rider who took off his helmet and started angrily bashing the car with it while a father and his infant s
