We have seen investigators tonight focused on the area. There are officers from both the vulayho Police Department and the District Attorneys Office out here. Just this started before 6 00 p. M. Investigators confirming police were called out for a report of a man wielding a knife at this shopping center. Police tell us when they got here the suspect was still armed with a knife. They say there was a verbal exchange before at least one officer opened fire. The suspect was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
