Sabir Hussain, aka Saby Khan, has set-up a website to promote budding stars. He last year celebrated 25 years in the media and entertainment industry. “It’s always been my aim to work hard to help young musicians, singers and rappers – from deprived areas in particular – to achieve their dreams,” says Saby. “I’m honoured to be from a family with over 300 years of musical and artistic history. “I have done over 1,200 shows and events both in the UK and internationally and helped more than 60 artists – from hip-hop to Asian fusion – to achieve radio coverage and mainstream success.” He has worked as a promoter with big-name acts including Black Eyed Peas, 50 Cent, G Unit, Busta Rhymes, Taz Stereo Nation, Jay Sean and Apache Indian. ....
Mr Rabani worked in Bradford s textile industry for many years before his voluntary role at the Sangat Centre, which opened in 1991, became a full time job and life-long passion. From helping hundreds access a British citizenship course to a men s mental health project, the centre manager worked with the elderly community and was a beacon of support for many in the Asian community.
