GETTING to talk to Manchester City stars like Ilkay Gundogan, Benjamin Mendy and Nathan Ake is not something that happens every day. But for St Wilfrid’s Primary School pupil Abigail Salt, not only did she do that, she played her part in a viral joke – or lack of a joke for a better word. In the video ‘Young fans ask our players the tough questions’, Mendy’s joke involving strawberries and horses – lost in translation - left Abigail and fellow City fan Zayan silent. The Frenchman then rather amusingly changed his profile picture on Twitter to his face at the time almost waiting for a laugh and made Abigail and Zayan his header.
