House Minority Whip Steve scalise now publicly backing Congresswoman Elise Stefanick to replace cheney in the position. A spokesperson for scalise said, quote, House Republicans needs to be solely focused on taking back the house in 2022 and fighting against Speaker Pelosi and President Bidens radical, socialist agenda.
