NEW WATERFORD Recent repairs to the well pumps at Crestview Schools have given them some new life and the hope they will remain operable even after the new waterline reaches the school property and the new building is done.
Maintenance supervisor Jay Radman said both wells are now working after McKay and Gould Drilling replaced one pump and put a new check valve into the other pump. Shortly after the repair was made there was a waterline break that drained 25,000 gallons from the school’s water tank. However, the new pumps were able to replenish the water after the repair was made.
