Three-Year-Old Boy Killed After Car Driven by 13-Year-Old Hits Him

Gorham Police Chief Christopher Sanborn told
Newsweek that the incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. and that a report came in of a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. The accident occurred near the Tamarack Circle at the Friendly Village Mobile Home Park in Gorham.
When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered that the pedestrian involved in the crash was a 3-year-old. The boy was pronounced deceased on scene by Gorham Rescue, Sanborn said.
The chief said that the person driving was a 13-year-old female and that she was the only occupant of the vehicle, which was identified as a 2012 black GMC Terrain. Shortly after the incident occurred, police made contact with the girl, he added.
