Winners, Gordon Dodds and Anne Marie Hyde received two books - published during lockdown - donated by Bookends in Carlisle and Keswick. Gordon Dodds, a retired crane commissioning engineer, has been a volunteer in Larch A/B ward for four years and now volunteers in A&E at the Cumberland Infirmary. Anne Marie Hyde has been a Meet and Greet volunteer at the West Cumberland Hospital for five years. She said: “I saw the role advertised and decided to apply.
