DALLAS, Feb. 15, 2021 Understanding the sex differences in cardiovascular disease presentation and outcomes remains a major research priority demonstrated by the record number of submissions for this year s Go Red for Women® special issue of the American Heart Association s flagship journal
Circulation, published online today.
Circulation editors said more than 100 manuscripts were submitted this year, the most ever in the five years in which the current editorial board has published the special issue.

Chinese New Year celebrations kick off in Dublin - World News

DUBLIN, Feb. 9 (Xinhua) Dublin Chinese Lunar New Year, an annual event organized by Dublin City Council since 2008, kicked off here on Tuesday, with an online evening gala providing a moment of joy and relief for local audience.
The pre-recorded hour-long evening gala, jointly organized by the People s Government of Beijing Municipality and the Chinese embassy in Ireland, was streamed simultaneously by Dublin City Council on its Dublin Chinese Lunar New Year website and the Irish national radio and television broadcaster RTE on its social media platform.
The bilingual program featured a selection of traditional Chinese music, dances, martial arts and acrobatics performed by top Chinese art groups and artists in addition to an introduction of how ordinary Beijing citizens celebrate the Chinese New Year, or the Spring Festival, in a traditional way such as making dumplings and doing paper-cu ....

Kern County taking part in fight against heart disease; 'Nothing is as powerful as a community united for a common purpose'


Kern County is asking residents to show their support for the on Go Red for Women campaign by participating in an online event for National Wear Red Day on Friday. 
To participate, residents should wear red and post those photos online with either the #WearRedDay or #KernCountyGoesRed and tag @AHASouthernCA Facebook and Instagram and @AHACalifornia on Twitter.
