Causes: Upcoming fundraisers and charitable events in Ocala/Marion Ocala Star-Banner 15th annual Father-Daughter Dance: This event, sponsored by Ambleside School, is open to the entire community. It will be held April 23 and 24 at a new venue: the World Equestrian Center at 1390 NW 80th Ave., Ocala. As in years past, there will be three dances this year: 6-8 p.m. April 23, 4-6 p.m. April 24 and 7-9 p.m. April 24. Although hosted by Ambleside School of Ocala, this event is community-wide and designed to create a special evening for all fathers/ father-figures and their daughters in Marion County. Its three dances typically draw more than 2,200 attendees, Ambleside said in a news release. ....
