AN EX-OFFENDER who turned his life around after losing his brother while in prison is aiming to give hope to others who are struggling this Christmas. Steve Ridyard, owner of Peter Ridyard’s Second Hand Dealers in Rhyl will open the doors of Rhyl Town Hall to provide food and winter clothing to the homeless and lonely from 6pm on Christmas Eve. There will be a hot food and drinks van, goody bags for children and essential items such as toiletries and warm clothing. It is the second year Mr Ridyard has held the event since being released from prison in 2018, after serving two years and two months during which his brother tragically died in a car crash.
