They tried a vaccination site in Marlborough listed on a map of locations provided by the state, but no appointments were available. Nothing was available in Needham, either, Chasan said. Slots were available in Springfield, but that was an hour and a half away. They waited in a virtual line for an appointment at Hannaford’s Waltham location, but 45 minutes later, the market’s website said none were available. They tried CVS too, with no luck.
