Pingali Venkayya is one of them. Not many would immediately recollect that it was Pingali Venkayya from Andhra Pradesh who had designed our Tricolour ( National Flag). A contemporary of stalwarts like Mahatma Gandhi, Pingali Venkayya hailed from the Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh
