Herschel Walker Candidacy Bashed as Insult to Black Voters as Runoff Ends

Herschel Walker s Chances of Beating Raphael Warnock With One Week to Go

Pelosi Appoints AOC, Other Squad Members to Powerful Oversight Committee; Leftists Promptly Reveal Radical Agenda

AP Photo/J. Scott Applewhite First things, first. As reported by The New York Post on Tuesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has appointed Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-Math Wizard) and two of her “Squad” comrades to the powerful House Oversight and Reform Committee, which will give the far-left lawmakers a platform from which to push their radical agenda on Joe Biden. Joining AOC are Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-TDS) and newcomer Rep. Cori Bush (D-BLM). As I write, the dust continues to settle on the Georgia Senate runoff elections, with Raphael Warnock (D) the projected winner over incumbent Kelly Loeffler (R), and Jon Ossoff (R) likely to defeat incumbent David Perdue (R). If Ossoff’s lead holds, the Democrats retake control of the U.S. Senate, giving them a clean sweep of the federal government.

Georgia Seat Called for Raphael Warnock by NBC News

Georgia Seat Called for Raphael Warnock On 1/6/21 at 2:15 AM EST Raphael Warnock will represent Georgia in the U.S. Senate for the next two years following a close runoff election on Tuesday, according to multiple networks. NBC called the race for the Warnock just before 2 a.m. ET, giving Democrats one more seat in the Senate. With 98 percent of the votes counted, Warnock led Republican Kelly Loeffler by 50.5 percent to 49.5 percent. Shortly after NBC, others also called the race for Warnock, including The Associated Press, CNN, and Fox News. The race between Loeffler and Warnock has been close since the 2020 general election. Neither candidate received 50 percent of the votes on November 3, the percentage needed to win in Georgia.

Loeffler sidesteps questions on challenging Electoral College vote in Senate

Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Loeffler appeared to voice support for the 11 Republican senators who have said they will challenge the Electoral College results without directly stating that she would join in them in their efforts. “I said from the start, everything s on the table here, and I m seriously looking at that,” Loeffler told host Bret Baier. “We have to make sure that Georgia and all of Americans trust our voting process, but my No. 1 objective right now has to be winning on Jan. 5 so that we can get to the bottom of what happened in these elections.” Congress will vote on Jan. 6 to certify the Electoral College vote. Eleven Senate Republicans said they would oppose the results. Loeffler avoided saying outright where she stood on the issue, saying, “None of it matters if I can t win on Jan. 5.”
