Trucks, working to repair the highway here, after this fiery crash. Part of the highway, it looks like, was damaged. So theyve got the street sweepers and looks like crews out here. And looks like theyre doing some patchup work to the highway. So we dont know when this northbound part of 101 at Bailey Avenue will be reopened. But this all started 3 30 this morning. Thats when the crash was reported. And this was the dramatic scene the driver saw as they passed the four vehicles on fire. According to chp, it started with a single vehicle that spun out, hit the center divide. Three other cars crashed into it. One ignited and before long, all four vehicles were on fire on the freeway. We know one person was killed. At one point, firefighters and chp had to shut down all. Lanes of northbound 101, south of 85. Now, they have one lane open. I was just driving home from work.
