Good to see you again. Good to see you, antwan. What year is it . 42 years now. Can you believe that . Its been an incredible labor of love forral those who founded and have been are there since the beginning like Lloyd Williams and so many others. For those of us that have grown as a part of it, its something that, you know, is such a part of us that its amazing to think that its 42 years. It goes by really fast. Ive been connected with ha mr. Williams. Ive been here six and a half years, for the last five, you know, ive been with us. Right. And just seeing the turnout, just tell everybody, this is so important to the community. And not just harlem. Right. It is really a celebration of whats going on in harlem 365 years a day thats condensed into the worlds longest week [laughter] so its like you said, its concerts, its film festivals, its Economic Development conferen ....
Thanks and telling things that might upset people. Maybe i will take the last question. Wars make writers and wars make ms. , and i wonder myths. And i wonder for you, as these wars begin to kind of fade, certainly they are not on our front pages anymore but what do you think should endure in the culture in terms of an understanding of the young men and women who served . What should we know . What should we continue to no . Man, i dont know. I think we will find out, right . What i wanted when i wrote this book was not that somebody would kind of take away one thing that i even knew. When i was hoping that people would engage with it and to get stuff that i dont know. There are other veterans who are writing books, theres more literature coming out about the wars it and they think it all kind of adds to the conversation that we are having about iraq, about what it meant. About veterans. What i want people to engage with veterans as humans, theres a way in which we kind of tend to conf ....
