REMINDER: Healing Fields Flags of Remembrance, which is presented by the Murfreesboro Exchange Club, was virtual last year due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. However, plans have changed for 2021 and this year the event will be “LIVE” and open to the public.

Again, the event will be in the grassy field next to First Methodist Church on Thompson Lane in Murfreesboro. The flags will be set-up on Memorial Day Weekend, May 29th thru the 31st. The event is free and open to the public.

What has become Murfreesboro’s iconic Memorial Day salute will return Memorial Day Weekend May 29-31, continuing a thirteen-year tradition. The Healing Field Flags of Remembrance hosted by The Exchange Club of Murfreesboro is an inspiring formation of U.S. flags and will be seen at 265 West Thompson Lane, Murfreesboro, TN 37129 next to First United Methodist Church.
“Those who have visited earlier Healing Field events know what to expect and will not be disappointed.” John Stracener, Project Chair, said. “First time visitors are in for an awe-inspiring experience.” A grassy field posted with hundreds of U.S. flags presents an unforgettable panorama of red, white, and blue that has earned the description “healing “as part of its name.”
