GATLINBURG â The Gatlinburg Police Department and Gatlinburg Community Police Programs (G.C.O.P.P.) are planning for its annual Kids Camp, which will be held July 26 through July 30 and is open to children ages 9 through 13.
Kids Camp runs from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. each day at the American Legion Building, located behind Gatlinburg City Hall.
The annual Kids Camp is an action-packed week that includes firearms and bicycle safety, alcohol and drug awareness, presentations by the Gatlinburg Police Departmentâs Tactical Response Team and K-9 Officer, tracking classes, conflict resolution classes, physical fitness obstacle course, team building exercises, swimming and waterslides.
