terrifying moments as bullets flew across i-580, while garrett mason and his fiance were leaving oakland to drive to pleasanton a couple weeks ago. i noticed the vehicle in front there passenger scott outside of there window. basically we re sitting. and their passenger side window facing backwards and then literally a second later, you hear about 4 gunshots. i believe one of went to of this vehicle. mason says the stray bullet entered his passenger side window. just barely missing his fiance. and exited out the back window shot he says it was a close call, but they re both physically okay. jason says he saw the 2 suspect vehicles minutes before the shooting began in broad daylight approaching the freeway. a vehicle. kind of us off at a four-way stop. and at that point. that he got onto on-ramp and the vehicle behind me was also on my tail. those 2 vehicles then broke off and started the and weaves through traffic. he says the suspect shot at a black mercedes car
we re seeing the low gray still hanging out across the bay area. may notice a couple spots of drizzle, especially near the coastline this morning. overall, what we do have today is set to be a dry one clear skies earlier on today and then a lot of sunshine to enjoy this afternoon. like we did see yesterday afternoon, too, 50 s and 60 s for current temps. you can see that the air is a little bit drier by the amounts that we ve cooled down during overnight hours. it s back down to the 50 s rather than holding on to the mid to upper 60 s like we did yesterday morning when you stepped outside to that, a muggy feel to it. so a little bit less of that little bit more than normal across the bay area. after a cooler morning. temperatures this afternoon rise into the 70 s for bayshore cities and a few more 80 s inland. definitely not too terribly hot just yet who are going to get there. so enjoy the mild stuff while we ve got it. i ll be breaking down what we can expect as we do move

bay swimming pool. his family left grieving. this happened at an apartment complex in mountain view on edna, merry way. the child was rushed to the hospital but died there. authorities say this is a tragic reminder of the dangers that can come with the summer swimming season. kron 4 sarah stinson followed up with a lifeguard that s been working for decades to talk about ways people can stay safe when they re in the water. drowning is going to happen quick and they can happen to people of all ages, but especially for kids. i caught up with a woman who has been a lifeguard for 32 years. she works here at the clark memorial swim center. she gave us some tips. the child going or anybody can go under water within a few seconds. the drying process starts here in houston. martin said in her 3 decades of experience, she seeing some close calls a couple of unconscious but again, they were swimming in unsupervised area the lifeguards were able to get to them quickly. the cdc report
