Reporter well, when we spoke to the police lasted last wednesday they told us they were looking at it as an embezzlement case. Here is what we know from the Garner Police department as of tonight. Tonight a total of 29hoas officially filed reports with the Garner Police preliminary stages of this investigation. But they are also planning on meeting with the hoas in the next few weeks. Now, i am will told it is really too old to determine a total sum of money that is unaccounted for. They are expecting upwards from 5,000 missing from all 29 of these hoas. Now, all of these homeowner associations, at some point, were maintained by cornerstone hoas in the triangle area and some of us tell us thousands have been drained from their accounts, checked bounced or access to their funds blocked all together.
