AEW Dark Elevation results: Hardy & Blade vs Cabana & Angels

It’s Monday and you know what that means: time for AEW Dark: Elevation. Tonight was a fun card for episode eight of the series. Miro defeated Will Allday  This was a very dominant performance by Miro. Allday got some offense in, but couldn’t do anything about Miro’s power. During the match, Miro said, “Give me all your champions. It was soon Game Over as Miro submitted Allday. He remains undefeated in AEW singles competition at 6-0.   Abadon defeated Ryo Mizunami There’s no better contrast of styles and gimmicks than these two. During the match, Abadon bit Mizunami’s arm to counter her chops. This turned out to be a very competitive match. Abadon has improved so much since joining AEW. She won here with Cemetery Drive (Gory special neckbreaker), her biggest win in AEW so far. Mizunami had not lost since her title match against current AEW women’s champion Hikaru Shida.

Winfree’s AEW Dark: Elevation (Ep. 8) Review 5.03.21   Hey there people, another Monday so here’s another episode of AEW Dark: Elevation. We’re still clocking in at under 2 hours, though cramming 14 matches into 100 minutes seems like an odd choice. But who knows how it will turn out. We’ve got Jon Moxley, Miro, and Orange Cassidy among some other recognizable names performing tonight so let’s get to the action. Match #1: Miro vs. Will Allday This will not be pretty. Miro easily overpowers Allday then clubs him down. There’s a brief flurry from Allday but Miro shuts that down with a belly to belly suplex. More Miro offense, he’s just playing with his food now while yelling at the crowd to send him champions. Allday eventually avoids a corner rush and sends Miro over the top rope. Suicide dive from Allday, they botched Miro catching him so they repeat the spot and then Allday sends Miro into the post. Back in the ring Allday jumps into a thrust kic

AEW Dark recap (Apr 27, 2021): Former Lucha Underground champion debuts

AEW Dark recap (Apr. 27, 2021): Former Lucha Underground champion debuts Share this story Episode 86 of AEW Dark featured the debut of Marty Martinez, Lance Archer murdering, and the next chapter in the feud between the Hardy Family Office and the Dark Order. The rouge’s gallery passing through Dark has seen many faces. Some are more familiar than others. One in particular stood out in this episode as a former Lucha Underground champion. That man is Marty “The Moth” Martinez, using his real name Martin Casaus. Casaus’ appearance is not a huge shocker, but it is still cool for fans of Lucha Underground. Last month, he posted an image of his journey taking him to the Nightmare Factory. It made logical sense that it was only a matter of time before he would pop up on AEW programming. Tonight was that night. Casaus stepped into the ring against fellow Lucha Underground alum “The Machine” Brian Cage, who was flanked by Hook.

The Acclaimed defeated D3 and Fuego del Sol  This was The Acclaimed s second match back as a team following Anthony Bowens knee injury as they returned last night on Elevation. Bowens flew in the ring with a hangman’s neckbreaker, pulling D3 down into a backstabber/lungblower from Max Caster.  A short time later, Bowens hit a flashy uranage and Caster came off the top with an elbow drop for the win. Mike and Matt Sydal defeated David Ali & Aaron Frye  Ali was singled out by the Sydals for most of the match. Frye got in to break up a pinfall attempt from Mike after a standing moonsault. He then hit a sky high on Mike for a near fall. Mike used a matrix-esque move to evade a clothesline and tag in Matt who hit Frye with a fisherman s buster. The Sydals then hit him with a double lightning spiral for the win.
