JOHOR BARU: Consumers looking to replace their electrical home appliances should be prepared to pay more as prices are expected to go up following the depreciation of the ringgit and rising production costs.
JOHOR BARU: Some 2,500 school students across Johor will soon get free spectacles worth RM500,000 thanks to the Sultan Ibrahim of Johor Foundation (SIJF).
In a statement posted to Sultan Ibrahim’s official Facebook page on Monday (Feb 22), the foundation said it was collaborating with Season Optical to provide the spectacles.
Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, who welcomed the kind gesture by Season Optical, hopes other companies would similarly come forward with aid for those in need.
“With the Covid-19 pandemic hitting all strata of society since last year, any form of aid and cooperation is most welcome.
